One of the strengths of the Social Policy major is its interdisciplinary nature. You are able to choose courses from a variety of subjects to suit your interests. The 100-level introductory Social Policy course forms the foundation for the advanced theory and research courses at 200-level and 300-level. Social Policy offers a range of interesting and highly relevant courses, each taught by staff actively engaged in research.

Social Policy Major

A major consists of 135 credits (nine courses) in Social Policy.

Minor Requirements

A minor consists of 75 credits in Social Policy, including at least one of 279.101; both 279.201 and 279.301; and 30 credits from: 179.202, 279.203, 279.302.
