“This degree and major are a direct link to the role and career that I am pursuing now…”
I chose to study the Bachelor of Health science at Massey University because it gave me options for a variety of different majors.
I liked that some classes were smaller and the lectures got to know you and you them. I wanted to stay close to home and feel like I was part of a family and Massey offered that. Massey did this by supporting communities and groups for students to join and be a part of.
I originally started in the Sport and Exercise major and after one semester I knew that it wasn’t for me. I always had a passion for Environmental Health I just didn’t know what I could do with it. The staff at Massey University helped me find my way and set me in the right direction to achieve what I wanted.
There is no doubt that without the support from my lectures I wouldn’t be where I am today. This degree and major are a direct link to the role and career that I am pursuing now. The experience that I gained by both theory and field work made the transition into this career a lot easier.
With a Bachelor of Health Science, you’ll be well prepared to hit the ground running in the health industry.
This is a great programme to find an exciting and rewarding career. Depending on your major, you could work in any of the following:
