Diploma in Arts (Māori Knowledge)

Maori Studies introduces you to te ao Māori, the Māori world, and will give you a sound background in Māori language, visual arts, Aotearoa heritage and Māori policy and development.

Diploma in Arts (Te Reo Māori) 

With a Massey Diploma in Arts Te Reo Māori you’ll be able to use New Zealand’s indigenous language, and participate in a Māori language community in ways that reinforce the everyday use of Te Reo.

Bachelor of Arts (Māori Knowledge)

With a Massey Bachelor of Arts (Māori Knowledge) you’ll acquire knowledge of Māori society and culture.

Bachelor of Māori Visual Arts

Massey was the first - and is still the only - University to offer degrees in Maori Visual Arts.

Te Aho Tātairangi: Bachelor of Teaching and Learning Kura Kaupapa Māori

There is an urgent need for Māori graduates of high quality and particularly Te Reo Māori graduates who can develop the nation's young Māori people.

Graduate Certificate in Arts (Māori Knowledge)

A Massey Graduate Certificate in Arts (Māori Knowledge) is a bridging tool for graduates in other subjects to get the equivalent of a major in Māori Knowledge. You’ll gain knowledge of Māori language, culture and tikanga.
